|a The research investigation presented in this study builds on past research using the FourSight instrument, an explicit theory style and creative thinking preferences as it relates to people's implicit perceptions of others when engaged in collaborative work. The date collected in this study included two quantitative measurements that sought first to identify participants' cognitive style and then to demonstrate their implicit views of collaborating with others based on their unique cognitive style. This study used implicit theory research to understand how individuals' natural behaviors and perceptions aligned with explicit psychological theories. Such research compared the FourSight theory to a teamwork questionnaire which revealed how open individuals were to collaborate with others who possessed different creative thinking preferences from their own. |
