- "The purpose of this casual-comparative study was to find out if applying a stringent reading comprehension program utilizing Achieve 3000 can improve the fourth graders' comprehension and written scores/skills at the Lew Muckle Elementary School. Purposive sampling was used to select thirty-nine participants from three intact group. Each group consisted of thirteen students who participated in interventions and completed a pretest and posttest to compare Lexile scores.
