"The topic investigated was whether a Project-based learning (PBL) program of building an island and making community living decisions in groups would motivate student with emotional or behavioral disorders so that their daily attendance to school would improve. The main purpose of the study was to see if PBL is an effective method for providing classroom instruction for students in a self-contained classroom."
